Dear Community,

 

We thank you for your interest in this year’s Community Service Book.  As the new owners of Community Service Book, we are thrilled to continue the tradition established in 1978 to help those in our community raise much needed funds.  As a second generation native Charlottean and as one who grew up in Italy and then moved directly to Charlotte, we have long been involved in our community.  The experience we bring as a former elementary school teacher in Charlotte and as a restauranteur here made our involvement in the Community Service Book a natural must!   These two combined experiences and being consumers ourselves give us added perspective as we seek to bring nonprofits and local merchants together to be mutually beneficial while also providing a value to the community.

 

            Along with our other endeavors, The Trevi Group and www.connectwithcharlotte.com, we will always operate with integrity and conviction which we prove through our character, our commitment, and our competence.  We are here to touch the community to make it better for all and exist for that reason.  This is why we have consistently served our community since we believe we are on a mission, not just because there is a need. 

 

            We invite you to come along side us by purchasing a Community Service Book from a local nonprofit organization, patronizing the local businesses represented in this book and thanking them for doing so, and choosing to join us as a local merchant partner if you have the ability.
